Meta in talks to invest in Indian fintech payment startup Cred

Glonghui, June 19｜At least six sources familiar with the matter told Indian financial media that Facebook's parent company Meta has been in talks in recent weeks to invest in Indian fintech payment startup Cred, with the deal valuing the company at $4 billion. The proposed valuation of $4 billion (equivalent to 380 billion Indian rupees) is slightly higher than the company's adjusted $3.5 billion valuation for 2025, but significantly lower than its $6.4 billion valuation during the previous large-scale financing round in 2022.
