According to coindesk, the Algorand Foundation has released a post-quantum upgrade roadmap, planning to initiate protocol transformation in 2026 and achieve full network quantum security by the end of 2027 to 2028. The first phase will introduce a post-quantum account system, multisig wallets, and staking support, followed by upgrades to core protocol components. The Ethereum Foundation and other public chain ecosystems such as Solana have also launched post-quantum cryptography research and migration plans.
