Security firm: Gitcoin subdomain hit by a front-end attack, suspected of embedding phishing programs
ChainCatcher reports that blockchain security company Blockaid stated its detection system has discovered evidence of a front-end attack on the Gitcoin subdomain files[.]gitcoin[.]co. The site is suspected to contain malicious code named "Eleven drainer," which is used to steal wallet assets. Blockaid warns users not to interact with the site at this time, as the issue is currently under investigation and being resolved.
