U.S. stocks open mixed; storage and chip stocks rise, while SpaceX falls over 4%

Glonghui June 22｜The three major US stock indexes closed mixed: the S&P 500 rose 0.08%, the Dow Jones rose 0.26%, and the Nasdaq fell 0.12%. For Chinese concept stocks, Pinduoduo fell 1.37%, NIO fell 1.39%, JD.com fell 1.41%, Alibaba fell 2.00%, Bilibili fell 2.53%, and Li Auto fell 2.87%. Storage and chip stocks moved higher: Micron Technology rose more than 5%, SanDisk rose more than 4%, Western Digital and Intel rose more than 3%, and Corning rose more than 2%. Among the "Magnificent Seven": NVIDIA rose 0.57%, Apple rose 0.09%, Microsoft fell 0.80%, Tesla fell 1.09%, Meta Platforms fell 1.25%, Amazon fell 1.64%, and Google fell 3.03%.SpaceX fell more than 4%; the company launched its first senior unsecured bond offering and will use the net proceeds to repay outstanding loans.
