The foundation is currently facing staff attrition. Founder Vitalik Buterin expressed regret over losing “talented individuals” and “dedicated engineers” who have been committed to the development of the Ethereum protocol for a long time. Buterin stated these changes stem from shifts in the foundation’s strategic goals and the scale of available funding, yet he remains optimistic about the future of Ethereum.
