Hypersurface acquires bitcoin vault Acre and launches HSBPI, a bitcoin strategy vault trading on volatility
Foresight News reported that on-chain volatility strategy execution layer Hypersurface has announced the acquisition of Acre, a Bitcoin vault infrastructure provider. The specific acquisition amount was not disclosed. Hypersurface stated that this acquisition will combine Acre's Bitcoin deposit and distribution technology with Hypersurface's on-chain volatility execution engine to launch the on-chain managed Bitcoin strategy vault HSBPI for trading volatility. This vault will be managed by quantitative digital asset investment company Monarq Asset Management.
Hypersurface stated that, as part of the transition plan, Acre's existing users will have the opportunity to migrate their deposits to HSBPI while continuing to self-custody their Bitcoin.
