Mark Cuban and Dallas Mavericks-related Voyager crypto case faces appeal
Foresight News reports, according to The Block, that Voyager Digital bankruptcy investors filed a notice of appeal to the Eleventh Circuit Court on Tuesday, challenging Florida federal judge Roy Altman's December 30, 2025 decision to dismiss the lawsuit against Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks.
According to the appeal documents, the plaintiffs are requesting the Eleventh Circuit Court to review Judge Altman's ruling, arguing that investors failed to demonstrate sufficient connection between their accusations against Cuban and the state of Florida, where Cuban maintains a residence. Additionally, the appeal documents question Judge Altman's May 27 denial to reopen and reconsider the dismissal, as well as prior temporary rulings related to these decisions.
