The Nasdaq 100 Index initially closed up 0.6%. Among the constituent stocks, SanDisk initially closed up 22.2%, Micron Technology rose 15%, Applied Materials, Teradyne, KLA Corporation, Lam Research, ASML ADR, and Western Digital were all up at least 4%, Qualcomm rose 3.7%, Amazon, Microsoft, and Arm Holdings fell more than 3%, Palantir dropped 5.5%, Apple plunged 6%, and Strategy was down 8.8%.
