BlackBerry has transitioned to providing software layers for AI and robotics ecosystems.
Odaily reports that BlackBerry has released its financial report. The company has transformed into a key software provider for physical AI and robotic ecosystems. Its QNX software framework is being used by chip manufacturers such as NVIDIA and AMD to build smart cars and warehouse robots.
CEO John Giamatteo stated that QNX technology is deterministic and has passed safety certifications. Driven by the financial results exceeding expectations and an upward revision of performance guidance, BlackBerry's stock price rose nearly 23% on Thursday. In addition, the company's software still heavily relies on its original cryptographic library and is now providing security protection for AI systems. (coindesk)
