According to Odaily, Base co-founder Jesse Pollak responded on X regarding the network outage, stating that user funds have always been secure and were not affected by this incident. However, he noted that on-chain outages are unacceptable. The root cause has now been identified and fixed, and a full postmortem report will be published soon. Base will use this incident as an opportunity to further improve the platform's stability and reliability, aiming to become the infrastructure supporting global 24/7 financial activities. Jesse Pollak added that once tokenized stocks are launched on Base, lending functions will also be provided.
