Liquid staking TVL falls to a two-year low, dropping to $33.4 billions in Q2 2026
Foresight News reported that CryptoRank tweeted that the total value locked in liquid staking protocols has fallen to its lowest level in two years, dropping to $33.4 billion in Q2 2026, a cumulative decline of 56.1% compared to the all-time high of $76 billion in Q3 2025. This metric has decreased for three consecutive quarters: $61.4 billion in Q4 2025, $45.2 billion in Q1 2026, and further down to $33.4 billion in Q2 2026, reflecting continued pressure on the DeFi ecosystem.
