Europol seized approximately 47 million dollars in illegal cryptocurrency during a law enforcement operation
According to ChainCatcher, citing a report by Bitcoin.com, Europol recently led a joint operation codenamed “Endgame.” This seizure was the result of close cooperation between law enforcement agencies from Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. These agencies worked together to target network infrastructures that provided services to criminals, exploiting three key “cybercrime-as-a-service” (CaaS) malware: SocGholish, Amadey, and StealC, which were used to collect victims’ information and sensitive data.
