Citi: Raises 10-year US Treasury yield target but remains bullish on the bond market
According to Odaily, Citigroup interest rate strategists stated in a report that they have slightly raised their year-end forecast for the 10-year US Treasury yield to 3.9%, up from the previous target of 3.75%. This adjustment was made following the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance at the June meeting. However, Citigroup strategists still maintain a medium-term bullish view on US Treasuries, as they believe the recent Middle East conflict will not lead to inflationary pressures being transmitted to core inflation. They also stated that, in their view, the risk balance points toward a weakening rather than a strengthening labor market. (Golden Ten Data)
