Oil prices rose slightly but remained near pre-war levels. Economists expect the number of new jobs added in June to slow to 118,000, down from 172,000 in May. Due to the shortened trading week because of Friday's Independence Day holiday, employment data will be released on Thursday. The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index edged down. The yield on the 10-year US Treasury note was reported at 4.390%, up from 4.372% on Friday. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury note rose to 4.119% from 4.087%.
