Optical Communication, Storage Stocks Extend Losses, AI Hype Appears to Shift Toward Small-Cap Names
BlockBeats News, June 29th, according to Bitget market data, after the opening of the US stock market, optical communication and storage stocks, which had seen significant gains earlier, experienced a widening decline. Among them, LITE dropped by 5.85%, COHR dropped by 7.77%, MRVL dropped by 4.11%, Micron dropped by 6.43%, and SNDK dropped by 7.88%.
On the other hand, some small-cap stocks showed relative resilience to the decline, with NBIS surging over 6% at one point during the trading day, and ALAB, a stock related to memory pooling concepts, rising by 3%.
