For the end of the June quarter, Deutsche Bank strategists estimate that defined benefit pension plans need to purchase $4.44 billion in fixed income assets, which “suggests that despite macro factors, there is still a slightly stronger tendency for the 10-year to 30-year US Treasury yield curve to flatten.” Read more
