StarkWare releases Starknet's post-quantum era roadmap
Foresight News reports that StarkWare has released the post-quantum era roadmap for Starknet, which will be carried out in three phases. In the first phase, BLAKE2 will replace the Pedersen hash algorithm for state commitments, contract addresses, and network configuration. At the same time, post-quantum consensus signatures such as Falcon-512 will be introduced. The second phase focuses on migration tools for legacy contracts, while the final phase centers on addressing external dependencies still related to Ethereum, including bridge system calls and blob data availability. The third phase will depend on Ethereum’s own migration path.
