The yield on the two-year German Bund fell by 1.2 basis points to 2.528%, down 6.9 basis points for the second quarter. At the opening on June 18, it surged from around 2.6% to 2.827%. In the first half of the year, it traded between 1.998% and 2.827%, and, after the U.S. and Israel launched an attack on Iran at the end of February, it rose significantly from its intra-period low. The yield on the 30-year German Bund rose by 0.9 basis points to 3.421%, down 4.0 basis points for the second quarter. The 2/10-year German yield spread increased by 1.382 basis points to +32.940 basis points, down 5.656 basis points for the second quarter.
