The Bullish Shift
The chart shared by Rietveld shows XRP breaking above a descending trendline that had capped price action since a sharp rally peaked near $1.29 in mid-June. The breakout emerged after several sessions of consolidation around $1.04 to $1.06, where buyers repeatedly stepped in.
The latest move took XRP above the trendline before pushing toward $1.10. The chart also highlights horizontal levels around $1.06, $1.09, and $1.12, with the asset now challenging resistance near the upper end of that range.
Rietveld wrote, “If $1.10–$1.09 holds, the next targets are $1.18 and $1.29.” Those levels align with previous areas where sellers became active after the decline in early June. A sustained hold above the breakout zone would keep attention on those resistance targets.
XRP Starts July With Renewed Strength
XRP entered July with renewed buying after ending June under pressure. The token climbed back above $1.10 as traders responded to improving momentum and a breakout on the 4-hour chart. Price action also brought XRP closer to resistance that technical analysts have monitored in recent sessions.
Rietveld has been tracking this trendline, and the recovery has strengthened market sentiment. Market participants are now watching whether support between $1.09 and $1.10 remains intact through the opening days of the month.
Key Levels To Watch Next
The breakout changes the short-term technical picture by ending the series of lower highs that defined the previous decline. Buyers have also reclaimed territory above the descending trendline, where traders monitor for confirmation if the asset’s price revisits it.
The immediate focus remains on the $1.09 and $1.10 support. Holding that zone would keep attention on Rietveld’s projected targets of $1.18, followed by $1.29. The second level also matches the high shown on the chart before XRP entered its pullback. Rietveld said momentum is building and he expects the next breakout to be huge.

Apple Pre-sale Tracker: iPhone 18 Pro Series Shows Weak Overseas Demand Signals, Duo Review Positive but Hardware Lags Behind
According to a survey by Jefferies, after the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro, delivery wait times in the four major markets—the US, UK, Germany, and Japan—have shortened by 5 to 11 days compared to last year, with no wait time in the US. Given stable production capacity, this is a clear sign of weak demand. Although the China and Hong Kong markets have performed better against the trend, there are still suspicions of speculative stockpiling.
