Glonghui July 6 — JPMorgan analysts pointed out that luxury goods companies are expected to benefit from positive industry-wide data signals in the second quarter. Data shows that trends in the second quarter are either consistent with or have improved compared to the first quarter’s performance. For example, U.S. credit card data indicates resilient consumer spending, while sales at duty-free shops, retail, and department stores in Japan are accelerating. Consumers in most countries exhibit healthy spending patterns, particularly in the U.S., South Korea, and Japan.
