Foresight News reported that DWF Labs tweeted that stock-based RWA perpetual contract open interest (OI) surpassed commodities for the first time in June, becoming the largest category among RWA perpetual contracts. Stock-based RWA OI grew 7.9 times from $166 million at the beginning of the year to $1.3 billion, accounting for 35% of the total RWA open interest for the month; commodities followed closely at $1.2 billion. This round of growth was mainly driven by popular storage stocks such as SK Hynix, Micron, and SanDisk.
