The latest update released by maritime tracking agency MarineTraffic on Monday shows that from Friday to Monday, a total of 108 vessels passed through the strait. Among these vessels, 30 (including crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tankers) took the Oman route. MarineTraffic data revealed that vessel traffic in the Strait of Hormuz was highest on Friday, with 43 passages. On Saturday and Sunday, there were 34 and 31 passages, respectively. MarineTraffic stated that analysts describe the current shipping activity as "operational but fragmented," and added that this pattern "should be interpreted in light of the still fragile security and diplomatic environment."
