NEAR Protocol dynamic sharding feature goes live on testnet, enabling automatic shard splitting without manual intervention
Foresight News reported that NEAR Protocol announced on Twitter that its Dynamic Resharding feature was launched on the testnet last week with the 2.13 upgrade. Testnet shards can now automatically split when reaching the state size threshold, enabling scaling without manual intervention or coordinated upgrades. This upgrade also includes an update of the signature scheme to a post-quantum secure version.
