7.75 days and 5,501 meters! Jimsar shale oil in Xinjiang sets a new national record for the shortest drilling period

Yesterday (6th), the JHW91-13 well at the Jimusaer National Continental Shale Oil Demonstration Zone in Xinjiang was successfully completed, with a drilling cycle of 7.75 days, a total well depth of 5501 meters, and a vertical depth of 4031 meters. This sets a new record for the shortest drilling cycle of domestic shale oil wells with similar depths, and the drilling efficiency has reached the advanced level of international shale oil wells of the same type.
