Plug Power has successfully secured a 50-megawatt electrolyzer supply order, which will be used for ORICA Limited’s hydrogen production hub in Hunter Valley.

With this key order in place, ORICA’s Hunter Valley project officially becomes Australia’s largest renewable hydrogen project to have reached a final investment decision so far. This milestone marks a significant step forward in Australia’s renewable energy infrastructure sector. The advancement of the Hunter Valley hub will not only enhance local green hydrogen production capacity but also provide strong support for the technological application and large-scale development of related industry chains. Plug Power’s electrolyzer technology has been adopted in this collaboration, further solidifying its presence in the global hydrogen solutions market.
