Due to a decline in oil revenues, Kuwait's budget deficit for the 2025/26 fiscal year expands by 13.2%.
According to Golden Ten Data on July 8, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance issued a statement saying that due to an 11.2% decline in oil revenues, Kuwait's budget deficit for fiscal year 2025/26 is expected to expand by 13.2%, reaching 710 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 23.09 billion USD). The statement shows that Kuwait's total fiscal revenue is nearly 10% lower than the preliminary budget estimate, of which oil revenue dropped by 11.2% to 1.53 billion Kuwaiti dinars (about 4.94 billion USD).
