However, Kalshi traders believe that the probability of the US government investing in OpenAI or Anthropic this year is less than 30%. Kalshi traders think the likelihood of the US government investing in quantum computing companies Rigetti Computing or D-Wave Quantum, as well as semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries, is much higher, exceeding 60%. According to sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had already disclosed the idea of government shareholding to the Trump administration as early as 2025. (CNBC)
