Jinse Finance reported that on July 9, Polymarket is making an all-out push to re-enter the US market through a large-scale marketing campaign. The company has reportedly reached strategic partnerships with organizations such as Major League Baseball (MLB), CNBC, and CNN, and is leveraging social media influencers for promotion, aiming to enhance brand legitimacy and market recognition. Four years ago, Polymarket reached a settlement with the CFTC over allegations of offering illegal derivatives trading and exited the US market. Despite previous regulatory investigations and the CEO's residence being raided, the related probes were dropped following a change in administration. Currently, Polymarket is proactively relaunching its operations by offering compliant sports betting products under CFTC regulation.
