Golden Ten Data reported on July 9 that, according to foreign media, Deutsche Bank's private division will consider purchasing emerging Asian bonds on the condition that oil prices remain sufficiently low to curb inflation and keep yields down. Jacky Tang, the bank's Chief Investment Officer for emerging markets, said on Thursday that if crude oil prices can stay at around $65 to $70 per barrel for about two months, there will be greater confidence in viewing Asian economies such as Indonesia and India, which are the most sensitive to rising energy costs. Jacky Tang added that only after traffic fully resumes in the Strait of Hormuz will emerging market bonds truly attract attention.
