Sources: The new version of the cryptocurrency Clarity Act may be released as early as next week.
ChainCatcher reports that, according to people familiar with the matter, lawmakers could release a new version of the Clarity Act on cryptocurrency as early as next week. The new bill will integrate the work of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and Agriculture Committee, but there are still unresolved issues, including one of the key demands from Senate Democrats—ethics concerns.
Democrats still need to accept the new draft, which requires 60 votes to advance in the Senate.
