According to The Guardian, UK Labour Party MPs plan to propose four amendments to the Representation of the People Bill, including a permanent ban on cryptocurrency donations, lowering the campaign spending cap from £34 million to £24.4 million, limiting the initial funding size of newly formed political parties, and conducting national security risk assessments on donations. These amendments are being pushed by a cross-party anti-corruption group and have received broad support following the controversy over Nigel Farage's Reform Party funding.
