South Korean regulators are closely monitoring the market impact of single-stock leveraged ETFs.

Glonghui July 10 | According to market sources, Kim Yong-beom, Chief Secretary for Presidential Policy in South Korea, stated on Friday in Seoul that South Korea's financial regulators are closely monitoring the impact of single-stock leveraged ETFs on the market. Kim Yong-beom said that the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Bank of Korea, Financial Services Commission, and Financial Supervisory Service will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the various impacts single-stock ETFs have had on the market since their launch in May this year. Regulators will also study and determine whether it is necessary to introduce new supporting control regulations.
