ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, Bank of America Securities analysts stated in a report that the overall US CPI for June may decrease by 0.09% month-on-month, partly due to a significant drop in gasoline prices. However, the core inflation rate is expected to remain high at 0.28% month-on-month or 2.9% year-on-year, in part because demand related to the World Cup is pushing up inflation in the services sector.

Based on this forecast, analysts expect the core PCE to once again be slightly stronger than the CPI.
