HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering secures order to build 3 ammonia carriers worth $360 million

Golden Ten Data reported on July 13 that HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (HD KSOE) announced on Monday that it has received an order worth 545.6 billion won (approximately 362.3 million US dollars) from a European client to build three Very Large Ammonia Carriers (VLACs). HD KSOE stated that its subsidiary, HD Hyundai Samho, will be responsible for constructing these vessels, which are scheduled to be delivered in the first half of 2030. With this latest order, HD KSOE has so far this year secured a total of 142 ship orders with a total value of 16.39 billion US dollars, completing 70.3% of its annual order target.
