Institution: India's inflation risk is likely tilted to the upside under energy pressure
According to Golden Ten Data on July 14, Eastspring Investments stated in a report that due to rising energy prices and weakening monsoon conditions, India’s inflation risks may tilt to the upside. The Reserve Bank of India may raise its policy rate by 25 basis points later this quarter or in the fourth quarter. Eastspring Investments believes that only when companies stop lowering their earnings expectations and the rupee stabilizes can the Indian stock market perform strongly.
