Galaxy launches the institutional-grade DeFi vault service "Galaxy Curator"
Odaily reports that crypto financial services company Galaxy Digital (GLXY) has announced the launch of its institutional-grade custody management business, "Galaxy Curator." Built on the decentralized lending protocol Morpho and opened to more than 2,400 institutional clients via Fireblocks Earn, it helps them gain on-chain stablecoin yields without the need to directly manage DeFi infrastructure.
Galaxy stated that this product aims to address the long-term idling of large amounts of stablecoins held by institutions. Because of settlement, capital deployment, and operational demands, large-scale stablecoin assets often remain in custody accounts, while direct participation in DeFi protocols comes with high technical and risk barriers.
