Whale profits from shorting BTC, earning a net gain of $941,000

According to Hyperinsight monitoring, a whale who opened a $45.9 million BTC short position yesterday at an average price of $64,940 has closed the position after BTC fell below the $63,500 take-profit level today. This short position achieved a profit of $974,000, with a net profit of $941,000 after deducting a $33,000 fee. The whale held the position for about 29 hours and has now fully cleared it. BTC is currently priced at approximately $63,533.
