The probability of the CLARITY Act being signed within the year has risen to 35% on Polymarket

Odaily reports that Polymarket traders pushed the probability of the CLARITY Act being signed into law this year to 35% on July 17, rebounding from the 24% low seen on July 13. This contract was near 74% in May, dropping to 48% in June as negotiations stalled.

Senate Republicans plan to release the final text of the CLARITY Act after meeting with US President Donald Trump. Senator Bernie Moreno stated that the updated text will be published after the meeting, and the targeted week for Senate floor consideration is July 20.

The bill requires 60 votes in the Senate to pass. Republicans currently hold 53 seats, meaning at least 7 Democratic senators must support it. Democratic negotiators indicated that the draft to be submitted to the floor is not their agreed version, with controversy centered on ethical provisions related to Trump's business interests in the crypto industry.
