The security enhancement upgrade proposal 6.6 for the EVM-compatible layer Etherlink has been successfully activated.
Foresight News reported that Etherlink, the EVM-compatible layer on Tezos, announced on Twitter that its 6.6 security enhancement upgrade proposal has been successfully activated at block 48571992. This upgrade introduces a series of security and robustness improvements to the Etherlink core.
As previously reported by Foresight News, Etherlink stated on Twitter that its EVM Bridge paused transfers due to an attempted security attack, with no funds lost at this time.
