Iran Revolutionary Guard: Two oil tankers exploded and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement on the 21st announcing that two oil tankers attempting to pass through the southern "dangerous route" in the Strait of Hormuz exploded and caught fire that day. According to the statement, the two oil tankers were forced to stop due to the explosion and fire, and rescue teams are assisting the crew with evacuation. The navy of the Revolutionary Guard Corps also warned shipping companies "not to trust false information from the US military" and urged vessels to avoid the "dangerous route." The statement added that as long as the US military's aggression continues in the region, the Strait of Hormuz "will remain closed."
