Fabric Foundation launches RoboPay to turn robot capabilities into payable services
Foresight News reports that the Fabric Foundation has launched RoboPay, providing a payment infrastructure for machines so that robotic capabilities become discoverable, callable, payable, and verifiable services. Its core model is “pay-to-actuate”: pay for actions, verify payment, execute tasks, and return results. This is suitable for humanoid robots, robotic arms, mobile robots, drones, cameras, etc., and can be triggered by web applications, marketplaces, enterprise processes, other machines, or AI agents.
