XRP remains under the spotlight as market participants monitor technical signals for any indication of a reversal in its recent price action. Egrag Crypto, a digital asset analyst known for detailed technical research on X, has released a new evaluation focusing on XRP’s 40-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) and its significance in determining potential shifts in broader market trends.
Analyst Egrag Crypto highlights $XRP’s 44 RSI level as key to trend reversal
Key RSI levels for XRP’s potential recovery
Egrag Crypto noted that XRP’s current 40-day RSI stands at 42.7, which reflects some improvement from recent lows. However, he stressed that the indicator has yet to clear the first important technical hurdle: reclaiming the key support region near the 44 RSI mark.
The analyst explained that 44 previously functioned as a decisive support level throughout several historical market cycles for XRP. After the recent breakdown, this zone now acts as resistance. According to Egrag Crypto, only a confirmed candle close above approximately 44.11 would signal the start of a potential reversal and hint at the weakening of bearish momentum.
The RSI is currently at 42.7, but the macro support zone near 44 is yet to be reclaimed. Historically, the 44 RSI level marked major cycle support, now serving as resistance after the recent breakdown. Only a confirmed close above 44.11 would indicate that conditions are shifting in favor of a recovery.
Charts shared in the analysis emphasize this macro reclaim zone, with additional overhead resistance levels shown above the 44 mark.
Confirmation sequence and higher targets
Egrag Crypto suggested that an initial breakthrough of the 44 RSI level should be followed by an advance toward 47 for a stronger technical confirmation. He outlined a stepwise path: breaking above 44, reaching 47, retesting 44 as support, and then moving higher.
The analyst described a sustained move above 47 as critical for shifting XRP’s RSI from a bottoming structure into an expansion phase, marking a potential transition from bearish to bullish market conditions. Besides 44 and 47, he also identified 50 as a threshold for fully bullish momentum and 52.85 as an important zone for macro-level confirmation.
| 44 | Initial macro reclaim, possible trend shift |
| 47 | Confirms expansion from bottoming phase |
| 50 | Momentum enters bullish territory |
| 52.85 | Strong macro bullish confirmation |
| 80 | Major cycle-expansion zone (longer-term) |
Long-term expansion zone and outlook
Beyond the immediate targets, Egrag Crypto highlighted an 80 RSI level as the cycle’s major expansion zone, which he characterized as a longer-term objective rather than a near-term target. His analysis underscores the need for XRP to reclaim the nearer resistance levels before aiming for such significant expansion.
Egrag Crypto concluded that the 44 RSI zone serves as the first meaningful confirmation for a possible recovery in XRP’s macro trend. A move above 47, followed by a successful retest of 44 as support, would provide the clearest sign that bullish momentum is regaining dominance within the broader technical structure.
