According to Odaily, Lightning Labs announced on X that it has launched Wavelength, a self-custodial Bitcoin payment toolkit designed to make integrating Bitcoin into applications as easy as calling an API. The platform is built on an Ark-like settlement layer and allows developers, AI agents, and vibe coders to add Lightning payments to any application without running nodes, managing channels, or sourcing liquidity. It also enables AI agents to use Bitcoin to pay for APIs, data sources, and other services via MCP tool calls. Wavelength is currently available in alpha on signet and testnet, while mainnet access requires an invitation.
