Daily Gold Review | Gold Prices Rebound, Focus on Geopolitical Risks and U.S. Treasury Yield Game

Currently, geopolitical risks remain the core short-term variable for international gold prices. The ongoing escalation of the US-Iran conflict has pushed Brent crude oil above $91 per barrel, reaching a five-week high. US Treasury yields have risen again—the 10-year Treasury yield climbed to 4.63%, and the 30-year broke above 5.13%. This simultaneous rise in real interest rates is putting pressure on international gold prices, which are currently in a tug-of-war between geopolitical risk support and interest rate suppression.

From a cycle positioning perspective, international gold prices have rebounded to $4,115/oz after repeatedly consolidating around the $4,000/oz threshold.
The price of $4,115/oz
remains at the upper edge of the midterm bottom region previously noted at $3,800~$4,100/oz.
The price of $3,943/oz
and $3,960/oz
have both found support in this range, and the bottom structure is still being consolidated, with a short-term W bottom pattern taking shape.

The first resistance level to watch is near $4,203/oz;
if meaningfully breached, the W bottom pattern will be preliminarily confirmed, with the next resistance at $4,252/oz.
Key support levels to monitor are the $4,000/oz psychological threshold and $3,960/oz.
