MaxLinear shares fell more than 11% after hours, Q2 total revenue increased by 55% year-on-year
BlockBeats news, July 24, optical communication chip supplier MaxLinear released its financial report for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, with total revenue of 169 million US dollars, an increase of 55% year-on-year. Diluted earnings per share were 0.02 US dollars (previous period -0.52 US dollars), up 106% year-on-year. Net profit was 2 million US dollars, up 107% year-on-year. Non-GAAP net profit was 34 million US dollars, an increase of 1854% year-on-year, and Non-GAAP earnings per share were 0.35 US dollars (previous period 0.22 US dollars).
MaxLinear expects revenue of 210 million to 220 million US dollars for the next fiscal quarter. GAAP gross margin is expected to be 57.0% to 60.0%, and non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be 58.5% to 61.5%. The company expects non-GAAP operating expenses of 66 million to 71 million US dollars, and fully diluted shares outstanding of 99 million.
According to BIT market data, MaxLinear's stock price plunged more than 11.22% after hours, trading at 81 US dollars.
