According to Trend Research, a Bank of America report points out that NVIDIA and AMD are competing in the agent CPU sector. NVIDIA has released the Vera CPU architecture, advocating that single-core performance determines response speed and emphasizing greater speed. AMD stated at AI Day that the rack-level throughput of EPYC 9965 is 2.4 times that of Vera, emphasizing that concurrent throughput determines efficiency and highlighting greater capacity. Bank of America believes that the competition between x86 and ARM architectures centers on the optimization barriers of enterprise software stacks and expects AMD to redefine performance standards. Bank of America maintains a buy rating for both NVIDIA and AMD, with target prices of $350 and $620, respectively, and sees both companies as following different paths while both offering investment value.
