According to Cointelegraph, US Senate Republicans have released the CLARITY Act bill, prohibiting federal officials (including US President Trump) from issuing or sponsoring digital assets. Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego criticized the bill as not a serious effort and will collaborate with Republican Senator Thom Tillis to propose a countermeasure. Republican Senator Bernie Moreno insists that the bill contains the strongest ethical language in US history.
