Three whales closed $7.26 million in long positions as tech stocks continued to decline, forcing bulls to retreat.
According to Odaily, monitoring by Hyperinsight shows that within the midday hour, a total of 3 whales sold off their original long positions, with a total transaction amount of approximately 7.2637 million US dollars, recording realized losses of about 79,800 US dollars:
- The address starting with 0x960 liquidated 167.0 NASDAQ 100 long positions, with a transaction amount of around 4.729 million US dollars, and a loss of about 46,000 US dollars;
- The address starting with 0x943 liquidated 1,248.3 SKHX long positions, with a transaction amount of around 1.502 million US dollars, and a loss of about 18,000 US dollars, then subsequently opened a short position of 225,700 US dollars in SKHX;
- The address starting with 0x61c liquidated 3,262.0 GOOGL long positions, with a transaction amount of around 1.032 million US dollars, and a loss of about 14,000 US dollars.
Among them, only the GOOGL order can be confirmed as triggered by a stop-loss order at 317 US dollars, while the others were closed actively at a loss.
As of press time, SK Hynix, Google, and NASDAQ 100 have fallen by approximately 5.8%, 4.2%, and 1.9% respectively.
