According to technology media Benchlife, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) has notified its board partners of a price increase, which involves GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits. Reportedly, when NVIDIA sells products to board partners, it packages GPU chips with VRAM (memory) chips into kits, and the partners are responsible for installing these chips onto their own designed PCBs (printed circuit boards) to produce customized graphics cards. As the prices of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits are set to rise again, AIB (Add-in Board graphics card) manufacturers are expected to have no choice but to increase graphics card prices accordingly.
