Analyst Says It Smells Like I Was Right About XRP. Here’s What Happened

XRP has moved into a key technical area as crypto analyst CasiTrades (@CasiTrades) said it continued to follow the wave structure outlined in her charts. After the latest move, she suggested the market respected an important support level before shifting attention to the next resistance zone.

An Exact Support Test

Across three charts, XRP declined through a descending channel before reaching the green demand zone near $1.08. The latest chart shows the asset touching that area before stabilizing, matching the path marked by her Elliott Wave projection.

CasiTrades later described the move as a “perfect touch,” referring to XRP reaching the support level highlighted in her analysis. The charts also show price testing the blue horizontal level near the 1.618 Fibonacci extension at $1.1008 before continuing lower into support.

RSI Supports the Setup

The Relative Strength Index also aligns with the chart structure. RSI dropped close to oversold levels as XRP entered the green support zone, suggesting selling momentum eased as price reached the projected destination.

The latest chart keeps the same primary Elliott Wave count while refining the short-term movement. The bounce from support fits the light purple wave path shown across the updates, with the next phase centered on resistance near $1.12.

Buy Orders Stay at $0.93

Despite expecting a recovery, CasiTrades revealed that she left her buy orders at $0.93. She has previously argued that XRP requires one final decline before the next breakout begins. She added, “Let’s get some more development and see if the market follows my subwaves. I think we’ll know more tomorrow.”

She said she wanted to see more price development and confirmation that XRP continues to follow her projected subwave structure before making any changes to her outlook. Her charts continue to project a recovery toward resistance first, followed by another move lower if the remaining subwaves develop as expected.

XRP’s Next Move Targets $1.12

After the support test, CasiTrades outlined her expectations for XRP. She wrote, “On light purple wave4 to $1.12 resistance. Follow the wave markers.” Her projected wave count shows XRP recovering toward $1.12 before another decline completes the larger sequence.

The charts place additional resistance near the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement at $1.1242, while higher Fibonacci levels remain around $1.1341 and $1.1640. For now, her focus remains on the move into the $1.12 area.

It is almost consensus that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates on Thursday, why does Standard Chartered refuse to "surrender"?

Standard Chartered believes that core inflation pressures may be overestimated and that raising interest rates remains a “wrong policy choice.” Tariffs have pushed up the PCE by about 0.7 percentage points, but this impact is expected to fade; the super-core CPI has already returned to a normal range, and consumer-side pressures are limited. In July, only three FOMC members supported a rate hike, and current data is insufficient to prompt more members to shift their stance. A more reasonable approach would be to wait until the effects of tariffs and data revisions dissipate before assessing the inflation trend.
